Curriculum Support

MacroMayhem_KelseyHunter_GHCD.JPG

We partner with educators to bring science alive in classrooms and outdoor spaces. Our team provides lesson plans, classroom visits, and field experiences covering:

  • Soil health & agriculture

  • Water quality & rivers

  • Native plants & pollinators

  • Marine environments & watersheds

  • Salmon ecology & life cycle

  • Forestry & sustainable land use

Youth Programs & Hands-On Learning

Students learn best when they can see, touch, and experience the environment. We provide:

  • Outdoor field trips to local rivers, wetlands, and forests.

  • Hands-on activities like water quality testing, native planting, and salmon monitoring.

  • Conservation-based projects that link science with community service.

Career Development and Mentorship

We introduce students and young adults to pathways in natural resource careers through:

  • Workshops and career panels with local professionals.

  • Job shadowing and mentorship opportunities.

  • Trainings and field events that build real-world skills in restoration and conservation.

  • Partnerships with local community organizations and Grays Harbor College to expand access to training, certifications, and career exploration opportunities.

Your Community. Your Watershed. Your Impact.

There are so many ways to support healthy lands and waters in Grays Harbor. Whether you’re a student, landowner, volunteer, or community member, you can make a difference by learning, connecting, and taking action.
