Doo The Right Thing

For Outdoor Recreation Users

poop_edited.png

You love hiking with your dog. So does everyone else. When you don't scoop trails become unsanitary for families, runners, and other dogs, waste washes into nearby streams at the next rainfall, and park staff spend hours on cleanup instead of trail maintenance.

The last thing you want to be catching at the fishing hole is high levels of bacteria.

Pro Tip: Use a small carabiner to clip the tied bag to the outside of your pack. No leaks, no smell inside your gear.

The "Pack It Out" Protocol:

  1. Carry extra bags (more than you think you'll need)

  2. Dispose at trailhead trash cans or pack all the way to your home bin

  3. Add proper waste disposal to your checklist. Bring a resealable bag.
