Doo The Right Thing

For Pet Owners

poop_edited.png

Not only do you need to pick up your pet’s poop on trails and sidewalks, but you also need to do so at home. Water testing indicates high levels of dog waste, even in rural areas.

Pet waste doesn’t just decompose. It adds harmful bacterial and excessive nutrients to local waters when not disposed of properly.

Dog waste is NOT fertilizer, it's toxic. The EPA classifies it alongside oil and chemical spills.

Pawsitive Things To Doo

Scoop it. Bag it. Bin it. Everywhere. It’s part of the job.

Being a responsible pet owner is important for everyone. When it rains, runoff from unattended poop travels from yards, parks, and trails into the waterways and spreads. The health risk to humans and habitat goes beyond the spot where you leave the poop.
