Lisa Zaborac
Board Chair
Appointed in 2024
About Lisa
Lisa was raised in the Air Force, stationed around the United States and Azores, Portugal. Her husband, Shane, grew up in Aberdeen and wanted to raise their boys on the Harbor. They purchased a home on a small patch of land north of Hoquiam to do so.
Her educational background is in biology and natural resource management. After she finished college she worked for the USDA, mostly designing and evaluating irrigation systems and water management.
As their family aged and didn't need her home as much she wanted to find a way to serve her community. In 2018 Lisa decided that with her background in conservation and natural resources that serving on the conservation district board would be the perfect fit. Lisa has been on the board since and now serves as the board chair.
