About the event
Looking for a way to spend the Saturday after Thanksgiving that doesn't involve shopping? Opt outside and give back to your community!
Join us on Saturday, November 28, from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. for a morning of hands-on restoration along the Chehalis River. Volunteers will help plant native trees and shrubs and remove invasive plants to improve habitat for fish and wildlife.
Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome, and no previous restoration experience is needed. We'll have a variety of tasks available, so come ready to get outside, get your hands dirty, and help care for the river.
Meeting Information:
Please arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 a.m. We will meet near the parking area and walk down to the restoration site together. The site is a short walk from the parking area, so please plan to arrive during the designated arrival window.
This event will take place on private property, generously…
