This barrier culvert is on a tributary to Porter Creek which flows into the Chehalis River near Porter. Correction of the Bailey fish barrier improved access to 2.20 miles of habitat for coho, steelhead and searun cutthroat trout. There were no downstream barriers and two partial barriers upstream on DNR land. The correction was a steel modular bridge 14 ft. wide and 30 ft. long, replacing double culverts each 24 inches in diameter and elevated three feet at the downstream end.
