This fish barrier is on a tributary to Polson Creek which flows into the Hoquiam River. This total barrier puncheon blocks fish access to 1.14 miles of habitat once the Atkins barriers are also removed. There was one 67% passable culvert on private property downstream. Potential fish using this stream are coho, steelhead and searun cutthroat. The correction for this project was to remove an old puncheon crossing made of logs and dirt and replace it with a concrete or steel bridge 14 feet wide and 30 feet long.
